Motormax & telematics provider Samsara design fleet safety solution for Brakes

Motormax is proud to launch our first project with leading national foodservice supplier, Brakes, part of global foodservice provider, Sysco. Brakes recently launched its first zero-emissions DAF LF Electric, designed and built at Leyland Trucks in Lancashire.

The 19 tonne multi-temperature delivery vehicle signals Brakes’ commitment to moving to a low-carbon fleet, in its aim to end diesel truck acquisitions by 2030. Brakes expects its new DAF LF Electric to deliver an annual carbon saving of approximately 52-tonnes.

Single platform integration with telematics provider Samsara

In conjunction with leading telematics provider, Samsara, Motormax installed a complete range of safety equipment including live DVR, side and rear cameras, load camera, side detection with left turn alarm, reverse alarm and a 7” dash monitor. The Motormax camera system is fully integrated with the Samsara cloud-based platform delivering a comprehensive single solution.

Climate Stripes

The specially commissioned ‘Climate Stripes’ livery (#ShowYourStripes) was created by Ed Hawkins, Professor of Climate Science at the University of Reading. The design represents the average global temperature change from 1850 to 2021 – clearly illustrating a glaring increase over the past few decades.
