The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)

Motormax is proud to be an associate member of FORS

FORS Associate

What is FORS?

FORS is a voluntary scheme that encourages and incentivises the safe and sustainable operation of commercial vehicles. FORS raises the standard, promotes best practice and provides an industry-recognised credential through an independent audit, staff training and support material. It is widely regarded as the gold-standard accreditation scheme by operators, their clients and enforcement agencies alike.

We’ve helped many fleets become FORS members. Our innovative safety solutions can be tailored to make sure your fleet meet the requirements for the desired FORS tier.

Why should you become a FORS member?

Put simply, being FORS accredited will showcase your commitment to maintaining the highest possible road safety standards – an essential factor for all key stakeholders, including existing customers, prospects and staff.

How can you achieve Accreditation?

There are three different tiers, bronze, silver and gold. You’ll need to comply with FORS requirements and evidence your commitment to achieving and maintaining the highest road safety standards.

How will being Accredited save you money?

FORS promotes and incentivises best practices in relation to vehicle handling and contributes towards a safety-centric work culture. Fleet operators that adhere to these standards are likely to see a reduction in incidents on the road. A safer, better equipped and informed workforce is more likely to be mindful about how their driving impacts the wider environment and other road users.
