Motormax Group Launches with Strategic Investment in Elite

Motormax is pleased to announce the launch of Motormax Group, following its strategic investment in Elite Vehicle Supplies (Elite).
Motormax Group brings together two complementary businesses with a shared commitment to innovation, technical excellence and fleet safety. Together, we are creating a stronger platform to deliver industry-leading fleet safety technologies across multiple sectors, strengthening Motormax’s Specialist Vehicle division while supporting the Group’s long-term growth and innovation strategy.
Continuity of Service
Elite will continue to operate under its well-established brand, with its existing leadership team and employees remaining in place. This includes founders Scott Forman and Jayne Forman, who will continue in their roles as Managing Director and Operations Director, ensuring continuity for customers, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders.
As part of Motormax Group, customers will benefit from broader technical expertise, an expanded portfolio of fleet safety technologies and increased investment in innovation, while continuing to receive the high levels of service and aftersales support for which Elite is recognised.
A Trusted Partner in Passenger Transport
Elite has experienced significant growth over the last five years, building a strong reputation for innovation, customer service and technical expertise. Working with leading bus and coach operators, vehicle manufacturers and regulatory bodies, including Transport for London (TfL), Elite has established itself as a trusted partner within the passenger transport sector.
Supporting Vision Zero
Elite supports Transport for London’s (TfL) Vision Zero ambition to eliminate death and serious injury across London’s transport network, supplying technologies that improve driver, passenger and vehicle safety while helping operators create safer, more inclusive transport services.
As Greater London’s bus fleet continues its transition to zero-emission vehicles, operators are increasingly investing in technologies that address the evolving risks associated with battery-electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
Expanded Technology Portfolio
Elite brings specialist expertise across passenger transport safety, with technologies including UNECE Regulation R107 automatic fire suppression systems for vehicles and EV charging infrastructure, Driver Fatigue Systems, Alcohol Interlock Systems, Passenger Intercom Systems and Auri™ next-generation assistive listening technology.
Scott Forman, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Elite Vehicle Supplies, commented, “Elite and Motormax share a customer-first approach and a commitment to delivering tailored solutions that help operators meet compliance and improve safety and operational performance. By bringing together our complementary technologies and expertise, we can offer customers access to a broader range of proven fleet safety solutions.”
Investment in Innovation
Supported by the investment from MxP Partners LLP (MxP) in 2025, Motormax Group is accelerating research and development, driving new product innovation and expanding into new markets.
Charlie Street, Motormax Director and Partner at MxP, commented, “This marks an important milestone for Motormax Group. Through continued investment in research, development and innovation, we’re well positioned to bring new technologies to market and support our customers’ evolving safety requirements. Together, we’re strengthening our position as one of the UK’s leading innovators in fleet safety, delivering greater value for customers while helping shape the future of transport safety.”
The launch of Motormax Group represents an exciting new chapter for both businesses, combining complementary expertise and technologies to deliver greater value for customers while continuing to invest in the future of fleet safety.
