Motormax launch forklift safety solution at Road Transport Expo
Road Transport Expo is the exciting new show taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh from 30 June – 2 July 2022. Forklift safety – complete proximity detection & operator alert system
Motormax are launching a comprehensive solution to enhance forklift safety using camera, audio and DVR technology. A robust, AHD camera is mounted to the rear of the vehicle, connected to a monitor in the cab. When reverse gear is selected the rear view is displayed, including an overlay graphic which highlights any nearby human outlines.
If a person is detected, a warning or spoken alarm sounds, warning “Caution! Pedestrian detected!”
Motormax offer Live and Non-Live DVR capability, recording the camera view to hard drive for retrieval if required. Fleet operators can ensure daily checks are being carried out by utilising the live DVR. This will allow monitoring and reporting using live view software. The driver can test the forklift safety equipment daily via a ‘test mode’.
Safetymax – life saving alerts
Safetymax is an exclusive range of audible and visual warning safety systems designed and manufactured by Motormax. We use innovative technology to improve the safety of the UK’s largest fleets, the welfare of drivers and the surrounding public. Safetymax makes sure critical and potentially life-saving alerts are communicated clearly to drivers with timely warnings for them to act. We can programme up to nine tailored alert images and voice prompts to be displayed on screen.
